From the funeral and funerary procession of Abuna Habib Toukmaji, born in Urhoy (Edessa) in 1899. Ordained in 1939 by Patriarch Aphrem Barsoum in Homs, he served for many years as the priest of St. George’s Syriac Orthodox Church in the Syriac Quarter of Aleppo. His death in 1973 brought together clergy, deacons, and a large community of mourners who accompanied him to his final resting place within the church he faithfully served
