Basle am Behe, chives (onion) with eggs, is a simple Syriac–Aramean dish eaten together with bread.

Ingredients:

  1. 6 hard-boiled eggs
  2. 300 g salad onions (scallions)
  3. 1 tsp salt
  4. 1 pinch (krm) paprika spice
  5. 1 tbsp rapeseed oil

Instructions:

  1. Wash and finely chop the salad onion.
  2. Boil the eggs and let cool. Finely chop and mix with the salad onion.
  3. Add the spices and mix the salad. Serve with fresh bread.
